Puppy and Kitten Exam

Welcoming a new puppy or kitten into your home is such an exciting time, but we understand it can also be overwhelming! Every owner wants the best for their new family member, which is why we have special exams catered just for puppies and kittens. They often require three to four visits in their first year to ensure optimal health and start them on a vaccine schedule.

During each visit, your veterinarian will conduct a thorough physical examination to assess your puppy or kitten’s overall health. They will also discuss the following:

• Core vaccines recommended for all pets
• Optional lifestyle vaccines to suit your pet’s needs
• Deworming and fecal testing
• Nutritional advice
• Parasite prevention
• Spaying and neutering
• Microchipping
• And they will take the time to ensure all your questions are answered!
